Theme: Nourishing LiLo
What sustains LiLo, and what does LiLo make possible that nourishes its participants and the wider world?
Focus
For 2026, LiLo had the Theme and Guiding Questions of (Re)Becoming LiLo. This was operationalised through our Activity Planning 2026. The major theme, running through three Open Days in the year was an exploration of a LiLo Manifesto focusing on the question of “Why LiLo: Why systems of knowledge production grounded in values of Wisdom, Beauty, Love and Justice and in fabrics of transformative relations are needed?”. Through the year we engaged in a process of Manifesto(ing) – exploring broad questions such as the nature, role, form & content of a LiLo manifesto, both as a process and product.
As the year comes to an end, we can reflect on progress to date, how to grow our existing theme into the coming year, and plan events, along with complementary on–going activities.
The weekend will offer a mix of embodied activities, dialogical forms, reflexive spaces, and planning ahead…
